Extra Basic Macro printing to LPR
LPR is windows TCP/IP printing. You use windows to create a port on the machine that looks like a local port but points to the IP address of a printer. It then appears on your machine as a local printer. LPR stand for Line Printer Remote. Thanks- gjdalton

lotus notes closes but leaves resource files open
user cannot open lotus notes again unless they close the nlhdaemon process in taks manager. user leaves notes normally but this process doesn't stop for some reason. G -

Check a couple of things: 1. if it is on 2000, does the user have permission to alter files in the program files parent directory? for some reason, 2000 doesn't allow users to edit files in their so when it opens it tries to write info amd fails so it closes. change the permissions on... -
Extra Basic Macro printing to LPR
We converted 80% of our company to LPR. Now the macro we were using to print entire information screens out of Extra has stopped working. Tried changing printer names in the macro to name on machine but won't work. Not sure the best way to do this but these screens can sometimes take up 120...- gjdalton
