    Using Oracle Reports to report on MS-Access data (memo field)

    When accessing a memo field from MS-Access the return datatype is Long. The report does not show any data. I tried "LTRIM(RTRIM(fieldname))" -- data type returned was a char (255) everything after the 255 byte was truncated. Any answers?
