Thanks. By the look of the event viewer list, couple dozen things entered today. I don't know which one it is. Even have an "error", in red, in the list. Will continue to work on it. And do this as soon as I do a diskcheck again, to narrow down the list. Thanks again.

When the diskcheck is complete, the results are shown......for about .85 seconds. I may not understand it all, but is there a way for the results to remain on the screen a little longer? XP PRO. Thanks.

MSN8 and dsl. When I try to send a page, I get the 'MS deletes it due to potentially dangerous attachments' window. No 'parental controls' in place. I don't think it has anything to do w/'parental controls'. The email will arrive with no attachment. MS can't seem to give me a decent answer...

Windows favorites folders. It appears files are deleted when I delete them, but when I go into the favorites later, they are still there. Help please....Thanks

Recently downloaded IE5, sp2. The deleted files seems to go away, but when I go back into the favorites later, the files are there. Any suggestions please?.Thanks.

An email stated that my system could not receive 'html'. I have IE5.5sp2(just downloaded a few weeks ago). What must I do to get html?

That's what MS help line told me. But it will cost me a long distance call and $35 for them to tell me how to fix it. I had spell check before I downloaded IE 5.5sp2. I also used a cleaner to rid duplicate files. Any suggestions?

Have MS's optical sensor, (Intellieye)Explorer trackball. During a Mahjong games I slewed sideways, Ever since,the 3d presentation puts the game on edge. Can't flatten it out. Until then, all was well. All other operations for the last 6 months have been fine. Fine print on trackball box...

Microsoft explorer track ball w/Intellieye(optical). Sideways slew a while back. Now my the 3d games view on edge. Uninstalled game/reinstalled it. 3d game still on edge. Something wrong in trackball software. Otherwise works ok. Looking at fine print on box says the trackball for Windows2000...
