Sorry i didn't finish this thread but I fiqured it out, I had downloaded and installed other video codec packets, they interfere with Premiere so go into your program uninstall on windows and take out any and all unneccerry codecs, this worked for me hope it works for you.

That occurred to me too so I checked my settings for both capture and project settings and they are the same. FPS 29.97 lower field first and so on.... But I thought because progressive reading comes out as no fields I changed my settings to capture in no fields and upper fioeld first and all...

I use the Capture software on Premiere, The odd thing is that you can see it when it captures and when it plays back but it just won't render out any thing but black. i can't fiqure it out, thanks for any help.
