Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I create a movie with jpegs in 'em it the picture quality is just fine...until I add a preloader. If the clip with the images is on frame 1 everything looks fine, but if I move it down the timeline to make space for a preloader the qualty of the images...
is there a reliable way to detect a users connection speed through flash? i figure i could create a dummie movie and calculate the amount of time it took, but i figure maybe there's a better way...?
