Importing images from the same folder requires navigation each time!
I think you may have your default folder preferences set in quark. To change these go to quarkxpress-preferences-default path and uncheck all the boxes or change the folder paths to ones you would prefer. The keyboard commands for swithcing tools have changed to: option+F8 and option+shift+F8...- ukprepress
