    Did you make the directories you want to use as shares (or make the C: drive a share ) which must be done on both computers to allow each to use the others resources ? If not, you can see the computers on the network but not have permisions to use them.

    Some new "home" lasers and many inkjets (particularly those which are accessed through he usb port do not have drivers that understand DOS and will no be able to be processed by DOS programs. The tip of copying the report to the clipboard (or to any windows program) may well work.
