Thank you peterasf for that but it was a little too high end for me but I have found the answer to my oun question. All I had to do was go File/tools/Colour Managment and tick off "display simulated printer colours" then all of the colours used on screen changed and matched the colours...

I am having the same trouble, but I am also having great difficulty in getting colours to export to flash, photoshop or illustrator, without changing to a totally new colour. Is there a reason for the difference?
maybe somebody could answer...
