    hi thanks the ram is compatable with the board its 2x512 1x1gb no sticks of 256! what if i boot up with 1 stick of 512 and if the pc picks it up then add the rest?

    hi ive just built a new 64 bit system but when i go to system properties it tells me there is only 256meg of ram when i have 2 gig which was working 2 hours before? mobo-gigabyte k8ns-pro chip-athlon 64 3000+ o/s-win xp pro ram-corsair pc3200 with a clean install of xp any hel woulp be very helpful.
