    Outlook 2003 importing a .pst EXCELLENT mind stumper!

    you need to copy the pst file from the CD to your HDD. then remove the read only attribute (this will be there because it is read-only on the CD) now you can open it in outlook. Outlook needs to be able to write to the PST file in order to open it.
