Narrow Drive on Wide Controller
Most commonest problem related to this particular error is tape sensor is broken off so check it out if not check scsi termination on the drive as it is also a known problem hope this is helpful Garth- Garth

Arcserve error message
When you boot up this server is there a message pertaining to the TAPESVR.NLM being out of date. If so update your TAPESVR.NLM<br><br>Have you checked your SCSI setup as this can result in the Tape drive not being read on boot up.<br><br>More info require.<br><br>Does this message present itself...- Garth

Groupwise, Arcserve, Netware 4.11 and HP DAT8i backups
I have a HP Netserver LC II running OS Netware4.11 & Arcserve 6.1. When i run the diags on boot up it recognises the tape drive on SCSI ID 6 ok. Load up OS and Arcserve if i go to Tape server managemant i can run the standard and full test without any problems. I encounter a problem...- Garth

HP DAT 8i Novell 4.11 & ArcServe 6.1 + Groupwise 5.2.5

GW 5.2.5 Schedule Maint tasks won't run
Greetings. Have simalar problem when running backups under autopilot have just set the synce speed to 10 in CMOS on HP Netserver. and set the job to reformat tape and then backup.<br><br>Job usually runs for 300 files out of 1400 and then stops.<br><br>Error codes have been pretty misleading as...- Garth
