Automated emailing script no longer works

I got an automated emailing job setup in the SQL Server Agent that used to work in our previous SQL server at office. Now, it doesn't work on our new server. I've been thinking it's the new firewall settings preventing it to run successfuly. Can you guys tell me what components need to be setup...

    Unintellegence Attacks Mid-West

And imagine how I felt very frustrated because I was the one who looked stupid when I couldn't find anybody in the class who could understand it. :-(

She would read that as 120 degrees north, zero degrees east.

    Unintellegence Attacks Mid-West

She did point where it's at on a map we were using (I wished we had a globe instead). She was actually refering to 120 degrees east, 15 degrees north. The way she read the map, I should have probably asked her to point where 120 degrees south, 15 degrees east is. That could have probably...

ESquared, At least, you got vindicated. My teacher in high school was teaching us how to read coordinates on the map using latitude and longitude. I figured the teacher got the two coordinates swapped when she mentioned 120 degrees north latitude, 15 degrees east longitude. Having a good...

Unknown Keylogger monitoring my Firefox browser?

eyec, I tried: CTL ALT LEFT SHIFT F Nothing happened. I even tried holding them down for several seconds. Does it mean a keylogger could have changed it? BTW, I can't find another ctfmon file aside from that one.

Unknown Keylogger monitoring my Firefox browser?

I've noticed delayed cursor response when using Firefox for at least a month now. S&D, AVG, and Norton can't find anything on my PC. Now, I've discovered a fraudulent transaction charged to my debit card. I tried running HijackThis and this is what I got: Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis...

    Unintellegence Attacks Mid-West

That is not uncommon. Back in the early 90's, a customer brought a CRT monitor at a computer shop where a friend of mine used to work. The customer told him he needs to have his monitor fixed because he saw a computer virus appeared on it.

    Unintellegence Attacks Mid-West

In the place where I work, a feeling-smart lady asked for technical assistance by email. She pasted a print-screen of the application in the email. The trouble was, she had the image resized to a point that nothing was readable. Her email: Why are we missing data for this person? My reply: Can...

    Unintellegence Attacks Mid-West

Here in the city where I live, I realized many medical personnels are having difficulty translating dates to MM/DD/YY format. Getting a "What's the number for November?" question is not something new to me.

    Amusing names

    1) There is a lady who lives here in our city whose surname is Burns. Her first name is Pleasant. 2) There was a guy who was applying for work in our company whose surname is Cox. My co-worker was laughing out loud after picking up a call from this applicant. When I asked why, he showed me the...

    Hotmail backup

My Hotmail account created sometime in year 2000 works in Outlook Express. But when I tried creating a new account, Hotmail won't let me access it from Outlook Express. I think all free Hotmail accounts created after the change in Hotmail policy can no longer be accessed from an email client.

    Worst Ooops you've recieved

The secret is on the zip code. Once a mail/package gets to the right area, a mailman can easily figure out mistyped street names.

    Insider IT Hacker

<somewhat funny speculation> And whoever that HackerBoy is, he must have been reading all you guys' posts. He could have been this same zentastic fellow who had asked this forum's opinion on the matter. He could have been wrecking havoc on their company network realizing he would be fired...

    Improving your memory.

We can't do anything to avoid losing information in our memory, because growing old is inevitable. Being forgetful is one of the two signs you're growing old. Now, I forgot what the other sign is.

    Speak English....

I really like the way TT members handle [somewhat] offensive remarks with civility and tolerance. It makes me feel comfortable throwing in this funny saying:
