have you verified the optioning on the t3? clocking? line coding framing? is it a serial connection into a csu? or is this crossed over into another router? if this is p2p can you have the telco put a loop and see if that brings the interface up... what testing have you done? was the t3 up... -
PBR and source address
that makes no sense.. if the packets are going out the dsl then they are being natted and they will have no choice but to come back in that dsl.. do you have a common subnet and bgp running on both these links? are you sure your packets arent going out the t1 still? -

ip local policy route-map POLICY_NAME will make the pbr work on locally generated traffic... other then that what seems to be the problem? the config is basic and looks ok.. as it is set up anything that matches access-list 1 will be forwarded out fa0/1... anything that doesnt match will not... -
BGP synchronization - want to understand it, not disable it
does R1 know about the subnet that connects R2 to R4? i thought that if you were to use next hop self on r2s bgp config that you would correct this issue... and it would show syncronized? -

ya im still using the 1760 as my router and it does the job no problem.. it can handle vpns as well if required. i have two 5mb dsl lines going into it, just needed to add a wic-1enet for the dsl lines.. im sure they can be found cheap cheap cheap these days (routers and wics) -

88.211.91.1 255.255.255.248 so the subnet is 88.211.91.0 /29 you have 88.211.91.1 through 88.211.91.6 available to use... 88.211.91.7 would be your broadcast address for that subnet likely the .1 address is what your isp will be using as your gateway.. you can then set up static nat... -

you would be better off going with some of the newer 870x series. the 2514 will never be able to support vpns and i doubt it will do much along the lines of CBAC or other security features that you may wish to use. honestly it would probably be better for you to just install the linksys at the... -

you need to find out if the telco is providing clock.. usually they do at both ends and you shouldnt need to run your router off its internal clock.. clock to the line and see if it comes up.. what is the state of the serial on the cisco though? up/up or up/down???? -

is the cable bad going to that station? check the switch for errors... maybe the pc nic card is buggy too? -
Multiple Static IP Addresses on 1 WAN Connection
you can use the other addresses via nat like brian mentioned.. or you can add them to your wan interface as secondary addresses.. either way since they are all in the same subnet youll have to nat to internal hosts. -

i dont know if ios 11 even supports nat.. you should really get yourself a copy of an ios in the 12 series to make sure you can use all the features that you will need for this to work.. as Burt said though you should keep the linksys out of the picture and just use the cisco as the router... -

are you sure your lan address on the router is in the same subnet as the pcs? you dont have any duplex issues between the router and the switch that it is plugged into? (10 half) can you ping the router or telnet to the router from any of the pcs? -
Loopable CSU/DSU
so this card is a T1 wic with a built in CSU ie Wic1-DSU.. not a Wic-1T. if so then it should accept loopup commands from the telco.. if they issue a csu loopup from their testhead there is no reason it shouldnt loop. you would see the csu test light or loop light turn on the same way it... -
MPLS, BGP, and EIGRP
if you manage the CE routers then you can do it.. you just need to enter the redistribute commands into the Routing protocols.. The PEs are BGP and then MPLS facing the Core so they will pass whatever you send them. -

pretty much all 2500 routers came with AUI ports rather then RJ45. I used a couple 2514s for a while and had the converters on it so that i could use the ethernet ports. You cannot use the AUX port to connnect to your cable modem. Just like you cannot use the console port. the converters are... -

ya i was just trying to say that a stratum 16 clock is the worst ntp source you could have and maybe the remote peers dont even trust it at that point to sync. after you peered with a real ntp server somewhere else your stratum # would have improved based on who you were synced too.. probably a...
