    Unhandled Access Violation AutoCAD 2000i

David, I get a lot of Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xa858a131 Exception which then gives me a fatal error. Have you had any luck in finding out what was causing your problem? Mine may be related. Kent

    Internal Error

Has anyone had experience with handling "internal errors" in AutoCAD 2002? I have seen this on several occasions in which drawings upon opening prompt this "internal error" and acad cannot continue and "recover" is not possible.

    pull down menu in ACAD2000

Hi, The hyphen is used to suppress the dialog box. Any menu lines such as "layer" will now need the hyphen in front of them. The same goes for command line entry of commands. KPar

Fatal Error ,can't find the Temp. Files

Unotech, Sounds like you are missing a file that Autocad needs to run. Probably got erased or corrupted somehow. I'd just re-install acad unless you know exactly which one you need and where it is. Kent

Fatal Error ,can't find the Temp. Files

    Unwanted proxy font information

Scott, If not already installed you could install the latest object enablers: http://pointa.autodesk.com/local/enu/portal/prodcent/obj_enabler.htm These should help with display problems. Other than that it is the way that the parent application creates the entity. Talk with the person that...

    AutoCAD 2002 and Ole objects

Thanks for the information. Have you heard of any third party software that allows this size limitation on importing OLe objects to be circumvented?

    Image Insertion into AutoCad Drawing

Right clicking on the image will bring up some options for you. You will be able to select "properties" and adjust the scale of the image. Imageframe, "off" at the command line will supress the frame around the image so that this border will not plot.

    AutoCAD 2002 and Ole objects

I am interested in any tips to increase the size of the OLE object that AutoCAD 2002 will allow to be pasted in a drawing. I am keeping the link to the parent application so that editing can happen there, and not pasting as AutoCAD entities.
