Can I partially hijack this thread... kinda.? :) If you mods want me to start a new thread, I can do that too, it's just that my question is similar to the OP... anyway:
I'm wanting to save different configurations of Delphi so I can load what I want when I want. I've used:
Delphi Distiller...
Here's a couple that I've really liked:
Delphi Basics
Download the Windows program $10 (around £6) worth every penny.

Introducing Delphi Programming: Theory through Practice
ISBN-10: 0195789113
ISBN-13: 978-0195789119...
fwiw... I went back to the drawing board. :)
In Delphi, go to:
Tools | Options | Environment Options:
Under Autosave options:
Editor files - unchecked
Project desktop - unchecked
Now, when you Save or Close Delphi, the .dproj file is not created and your File | ReOpen menu does not get...
It may be better to pretend that they don't exist, i.e. don't click the "ReOpen" button...
First... backup! ;^)
In RegEdit navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\BDS\5.0\Closed Files
Right click, select "Export", give the reg file a name and location. Good, now all you have to do is...
DDevExtensions - free, make sure to get DelphiSpeedUp while you're there.

TwoDesk Mini Palette - $19.95

Funny, this last week I've searched for a similar solution... best I've come up with so far is:
do a google search for:
activeform or ActiveForm+IActiveDesktop+Delphi or something similar.
If you find something that works, please post back... :)
Hi,
I have one of those USB flash drives, pen drives, whatever... does anyone know if it's possible to set it up to autorun like a CDrom when you pop it in. I tried an Autorun.inf, no go.
Any clues would be highly appreciated! It would be great to open an email client or password manager...
Scroll down and look for "DLLs and Accessing Port Hardware..." on this page :

DProgressBar v.1.0
Dreamsoft ProgressBar is an ideal alternative to other progress meters when the total duration of an operation is unknown (just like the one in Windows Explorer "Search" Pane or "Setting Folder permissions..." dialog).
Supports WindowsXP skins...
Since I'm a noob to Delphi, please excuse my ignorance... don't know if one of these would help you or not...
