I was called to work on a WinME machine that was displaying the following message upon powering up
"Operating System Not found"
I went into the (phoeinix) BIOS and the HDD was the first device listed in the boot order. I again tried a few more times to boot to the HDD successfully. Nada...
Not to steal any thinder from the original poster, but I'l post this here as I have a similar issue.

Its been forever since Ive worked ona 95 box, but I wonder if there is a way in Win95 to vire the folder where the contents of the clipboard are stored. Perhaps it is full and needs emptied?
