K6-2 550 Protection Error
There was a problem with windows 95 with the AMD K6-2 You had to down the clock speed to 300Mhz and install a patch, then you could operate at full CPU speed. This sounds like the same thing is happening here, although both AMD and Microsoft say that win98 resolved this problem...- Neo415
