    Creating files greater than 1 Gb in AIX 4.2

    I have got a journaled file system on AIX 4.2. (25 Gb) It has large file enabled. I have set all of the /etc/security/limits to -1 for default user. Still I cannot create files greater than 1Gb. Is there something I am missing? stu21

    File size > 2Gig

    Tison, I know this issue was a long time ago, but I have done everything mentioned in the text above and canot create files greater than 1Gb. How did you get around it? Was it one of the methods above? stu21
