Hi guys I'm working on CR9 and connecting to Oracle via ODBC. Does anyone know if there is a way to get notifications (from Crystal Enterprise) if and when scheduled reports on Crystal Enterprise fail to run. I just want to find out if there is an easier way of doing it rather than manually...

    Sum of a formula field

Oh sorry my mistake - the formula actually reads out like this: If {table. To} like "NOC*" and {table.ref} = next ({table.ref}) then DateDiff ("n", {table.xfer_date}, next({table.xfer_date})) Else If {@Xfer To} like "NOC*" and {table.ref} <> next ({table.ref}) then DateDiff ("n"...

    Formula based on day value

Thanks guys I tried this of Friday and waited to test it on Monday (today) and it sure does work. I changed my DayOfWeek to be based on CurrentDate (instead of log_date) as Brian suggest and then applied the selection criteria as K suggested - works wonders. I even changed my system date to...

K Do u think you can help me figure this one out: The report works just fine until I come to the select expert. Currently the report is based on all records but now I want to filter only those to which the formula applied (i.e. the like "NOC*" groups only). I figured I would use this in my...

Formula based on the last record within a group

Thanks K u r a * It works - I only had to remove "next" in the last line of the formula coz in this case NOC will be the last record in the line of each respective group, thus there's no next close date for that particular group. If {table.xferto} like "NOC*" and...

Formula based on the last record within a group

In addition to the formula that you suggested, i want to still see values for if NOC was the last group to which the call was transfered. In such a case, i want to see the datediff between the transfer date and the close date. I hope this makes sense.
