I had another lockup last night. I'm thinking the problem is related to some large process that another user is performing in MAS90...seems to go along with it being end of month...
I seem to have reduced this problem, if not eliminated it entirely. I found the proper antivirus exclusions were missing, and since I've set them up we haven't had a lock up. See http://www.thefitzgroup.com/html/images/pdf/Tips&Tricks2005Core.pdf for proper AV exclusions.
I'm working on a very similar issue.
I have a client who is experiencing MAS90 lockups between 5:00pm - 6:30pm.
I haven't found any scheduled backups, virus scans, or any other items scheduled for this time period.
While the problem was happening I used filemon and the user's PVXWIN32.EXE...
