We decided not to even attempt installing 6.7 on WIN2003 so I'm not sure, short of BocaBurger's previous replies to this thread, what would happen. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck.
We decided to move away from Mercator and re-write our applcication in java. This has accomplished several advantages;
1) More people on our team can now support the application; we only had two Mercator developers
2) We are not tied to a vendor package
3) Savings on licensing/maintenance...
Tried adjusting maxthreads. Set the value all the way to the minimum, 10. No help.
We are already using the -W tag in the run() function.
Sink adapter?
Are there any known external applications, patches, etc that could interfere with the running of Mercator?

Does anyone have any experience with Not enough memory to execute map' errors? What exactly causes these errors? Does anyone else think Mercator is flakey?
We are running Mercator 6.7 on a Windows2000 server and started receiveing 'Not enough memory to execute map' errors. What's strange is that when we restart the event server, the maps run without problems for the first app then subsequent apps fail. It's like the event server or some other...
6.7 may not be 'supported' for Windows Server 2003, but has anyone tried to run it on Win 2003? Was it successful? What were the issues, if any?

Our company is planning an upgrade to Windows Server 2003 from 2000. We are currently running Mercator 6.7. Has anyone had any experience running this version of Mercator on Windows Server 2003? What problems, if any, have you run into?
