It isn't a problem on the clients, but on the Domain Controllers. If I edit the Group Policies on DC1 they are different than on DC2 for the same OU policy. www.energizingcomputing.com

I have a fairly simple setup. 2 Domain Controllers DC1 and DC2. Any changes to groups and users are replicated fairly quickly. However changes to Group Policies are not replicated at all. Running DCDIAG and REPADMIN show no errors. Any pointers?

I agree with bofhrevenge2, get a seperate firewall. An old PC and smoothwall which cost nothing should be enough. On a second point make sure that what ever option you go for configure your firewall properly. For your web server, know what ports you require and disallow all others. e.g...

You might try pslist.exe in your script and pipe it to a text file. Then use the find command to look for notify.exe. Check for errorlevel 0 to indicate it is running. Darren

If you don't have it installed locally (best for performance) you should be able to find it on \\yourserver\sys\public\mgmt\consoleone\1.2\bin\consoleone.exe

Make sure the Application objects have disconnetcable selected in consoleone that way when there is no network connection they will still be available

I would also agree SUS is great, but to make sure you don't miss any patches it is also woth looking at hfnetchkpro from shavlik to scan the network to make sure you are getting all machines

More than likely it is your NALNTSRV that is giving you problems. Stop this service and copy nalntsrv.exe from a working PC. reboot and all should be fine
