Hi
I'm aware of the TVA on an anlogue set to do the truck verifications, but i'm being told that this works for DASS but not Euro-ISDN (ISDN30E's) and the only waty to test ISDN30E trunks is to disable the preceeding trunks in the group and then dial out as normal.
Is this correct, is there a...
Guys
The issue was related to different structure cabling within the building, with different outlets etc having different pin combos. Nightmare.
Finally worked out I needed a straight through RJ 11 to RJ45 phone cable, whereas the one I was using for testimng had crossed pairs.
Its definitely a 3902 as we have many of these, its common place in our building, so not an IP phone, and as I say we do have it working in the office.
DKF: I have mate, first thing i tried, reversing the wires to the pins.
All logic says this should be working,
I've been working in this...
Hi Guys
I have a working 3902 in an office, connected directly from the back of the phone to the RJ45 socket on the wall. OK no probs!

What it looks like, is that we have the database views/definition for a DMS and not the M1.
Do you think the removal / reinstallation of Sybase and data restore would fix?
Hi guys
We've recently recoverd froma system failure on SCCS5.0, involving a restore of the database.
Runnging the report - Config - Database View Definitions, we seem to have a different set of views than before.
Comparing the database to another site (also on v5.0) , it is very apparent...
Thanks for your replies so far.
The partition sizes are the sames as before the reload.
I think the clean rebuild has created 'default' database sizes within the partitions, so the 24gb won;t fit into the system allocated space.
We are now trying a migration style restore which sounds like...
We have just had to rebuild our Symposium 5.0.
We have created a 4 partion disk for the database with each partition @ 16gb (total 64gb).
When we try to reatore it gives us an error saying the databse requires 24gb.
Any ideads why we can;t load the 24gb data into the new build?
Thanks
