I have a spreadsheet of acronyms Column A is the acronym and column B the definition.
I use a lookup table so that if you put the acronym in A4 it returns the definition in B4, however, the list now contains a lot of acronyms that have more than one meaning.
OK I get the first defintion reached...
I have just been loading Office XP for a friend, and getting rid of all the extra programmes Dell slip in. However, when I open Excel I get the message "compile error in hidden module. Auto Exec New" and when I close the message is "compile error in hidden module DistMon" I am sure it is...
Currently have Office XP (including Access) and contemplating the following;
A) Upgrading to Office 2003, however, will I be able to just reinstall Access from the XP Suite.
B) Could I remove just Outlook 2002(XP) and install Outlook 2003 and leave the rest of Office 2002.

I am using the v-lookup function and wish to return the hyperlink contained within the table. However it returns the text stream instead of the hyperlink. How can I get it to show the hyperlink?
I reloaded all my programmes, after fitting new hard drive, and now when I open Outlook (Office XP) the flash screen stay on the desktop for about 20 seconds. This does not happen with Word or Excel. Any ideas.

I have Windows XP Professional with Office XP and Adobe Acrobat.. The PDF Icon is available from within Excel, Powerpoint but not from Word any suggestions. I have tried reinstalling to no avail.

I seem to recall there s a built in capability within Word XP (2002) to enable documents to be scanned directly into the application in a way so that the document can be edited.
I am trying to use an excel spreadsheet to detail contracts in place but with a column to show reducing outstanding period for example;
A2 = Contract commenced
b2 = Period e.g. 3 years
c2 = Formula required for outstanding period expressed in years & days.
