How do I verify data on Tape?

That is an excellent idea, thank you. I did find the verify in the media section but it is not comparing the image to what is on the disk. It compares what it has in the catalog to what it backed up.

Are there problems with the Calendar schedule type? I thought I have seen a lot of problems with backups when calendar type is used instead of using the frequency type.

    Tape Verification

Is it doing it somehow on the fly or is there a log I can look at? Backup Exec has a nice windows where you could look at tape drive stats for errors and a separate job to run a verification on the tape when the backup is done. Is it not done that way with NBU?

Is there any type of tape verification that is done while backups are running? Is there anything to tell you if there is read /right errors or tape drive stats?

I need to send SCSI media move request

At command line run robtest utility. 'unload d1' for drive 1, or 'unload d2' for drive 2. 'm d2 s1' : this would be to move from drive 2 to slot 1. 'm s1 d1' : this would move from slot 1 to drive 1.

Reports: How can I list what was backed up

I did a full backup of a Win2k server selecting all local drives and the system state. When I run a client report, it breaks it down to 4 items it backed up, but it only lists the client (server name) for each item. Is there a way to list 'system state', 'c:\' and 'd:\ and have it report the...
