If you scan a tape it will tell you what was backed up under each session on the tape. It's useful if you've got an old tape that you're unsure of what's on it.

The chances are if it's a month old the information for that tape has probably been pruned out of the database. Arcserve prunes records older than 30 days by default. You will have to remerge the tape first.

Hi, this isn't really an answer to your question but have you tried backing up the server without the notes agent. I use to back many notes servers, without using the notes agent. I used the open file agent and could restore databases, mail files fine with this.
