I'm curious for suggestions about how best to clean up active directory.
We currently have many machines that have been taken out of service, but still show up in AD.
Also, I'm looking for the quickest, easiest way to get machines put into thier proper OU. If there was someway I could do a...

They are showing up in collections... but they are showing that the client is not installed. Today the number is 75. Why are 75 able reporting correctly but the rest are not... it just doesn't make any sense to me.

If so, what needs to be done to fix the issue?

You might look at your SMS Service acct. I had a very similar problem here. Someone decided to change the service password and it cause a world of problems.
I am trying to create a query in SMS 2003 that will include all Win2k and XP Pro machines. However, I would like it to exclude a certian OU.
If someone knows what this should look like an example would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks,
Mac
