Old building cable is labeled both CAT5 and CAT5e
The cabling in use in this building is labeled with Cat5 and then 3 inches later it says Cat5e both followed by different ISO standards. Is this cable actually rated to true Cat5e if it is bearing the rating or should I be worried? I plan to run gigabit over this cable. Thanks,
