Hayes 56k modem too slow
I just bought a Hayes 5362US 56K external modem. It won't connect at 56K. It usually connects at 24k. My old USR 33k modem always connects at 28.8. The Hayes connected once at 44k. I have tried setting the speed at various settings. I have downloaded the V.90 flash update. It doesn't help. Is...
