Dell server running EXTREMELY slow
umm... dell says that their server-class hardware and win XP don't do well together. dunno why for sure, but many folks have tried this type of thing and end up going back to a breakable pc platform. i can't believe how chincy pc's have gotten! -

the new drives on this linux CentOs5 box are actually going to be 15k 300gb scsi, which are an upgrade from the 10k 73gb scsi's. can't i just plug a new drive in and let it rebuild the to the new disk? many thanks... -
