I have a whole host of Procurve Switches. Some of them have various ports that are locked down with port level security. I'm trying to use SNMP to get which ports are set to port level security and what the MAC address is associated to the port. Does anyone know how to do this?
Have you trunked them together? HP refers to this as tagging and untagging. If you untag a port, you are assigning that port to that vlan. If you tag a port, you are passing that vlan "in the back gound" so to speak. Hopes this helps.
I'm trying to do the same thing...just with a home grown application. Right now, I have to start at our core and slowly trace it down to the end switch using "sho mac". I'm trying to locate the snmpget statements that will do this process.
This will give you the MAC address of 10.10.11.115...
I’m trying to reboot an HP Procurve 2600 series switch using a snmp command line code. I’ve searched the internet for a way to do this but have been unsuccessful. Is there a way to accomplish this task?
