If they are stopping the remote control service..Just run a SMS job to start it back up. Based on your hardware inventory you should be able to determine what services are running. If it is not running start it up.

I know this is an old post but this reply may help a few. We set time on remote computers by using the NET TIME \\server /set /y command this will set the time to what ever the time is on the "Server". Run this during the logon script and it should sync the client time with the server...
