Word 2000 toolbars
Try a RIGHT click on the grey band where the tool bar should be. You will get a drop down list of tool bars. Check the one you want, STANDARD, and the list will close. TWO CLICKS AND JOB DONE. In addition you can create your own tool bars here which contain all of your favourite functions...- Sharman

Office97 Service Pack 1 fixes this problem. It was nothing to do with the OS at all! -

Can anyone tell me how I get PCL passthrough commands from MS Word to a network printer using MS Win2000 pro as the operating system? I use this just fine in with MS Word in Win95 but New PCs using MS Word and Win2000 pro has stopped PCL commands getting to the HP printers. This has to be an... -
User ID on the LCD DISPLAY
Hi Jim, Thanks for the reply. I have looked at the PJL RDYMSG command before but could not get it to work :( I presume that I put the code {27 "%-12345X@PJL RDYMSG DISPLAY= ""User1"""}{27 "%-12345x"} into the top of the Word document in the same way...- Sharman

User ID on the LCD DISPLAY
I use HP LJ4100s & 8150 on my network with MS Word 8 as the WP. I want to send a message with each manual job, which displays on the LCD DISPLAY identifying which users job is being held for MANUAL printing.
