I was able to get it working. Here is how in case anyone else has my somewhat unique requirements. I had to create a shortcut directly to c:\windows\system32\command.com. then set compatiblity for the shortcut to win95. I had to change the files line in the config.nt file to files=75. Have just bought a new computer running windows xp. Am having trouble setting it up as a workstation. We are running great plains verion 9.1 (dos) on a Novell network.
