I have runned in to a problem. I dont know when or why it occure but suddenly content-type:application/x-perl prints out on my page.
Does anyone know what this application means and what program(s) uses it?

The url comes from an input used for uploading images, and every time someone uploads an image, i want to know it´s extention.
My problem is that i don´t know how to pick out this little piece of information from the string using javascript.

I wonder how to use search().
My problem is that I have an URL to a picture, but want to know if the choosen picture is jpeg or gif format. Maby there´s a easier way to do this.
The URL comes from an '<input type=file ...>'.

All web hotels doesn´t let you have cgi scripts on their server, for security reasons.
I recomend you to write to your hotel: www.geocites.com and ask them if they support cgi scripts and if the do, were their perl interpreater is.

I have made a select statement from a database and wonder if there is any possibillity to have two different 'order by'. If the first one doesn´t fit, the second one will be used.
