Creating a VE (ext 255) for a group of users with 24 btn phones, all keys used. In SL2100 can use keys 25 and up to place the ringing VE. Not so with SL1100, only 24 keys show as programmable. How best to accomplish this without removing keys assigned?

The SL1100 has been EOS/EOL for many years now. It was never updated to allow "hidden" keys past 24. To put a call cover key for a virtual extension on a phone, you have to use a buttons 1 - 24. There is no workaround.

use a trunk key and assign as the VE in enhanced mode, you can then program this as an outgoing call key when pressed. This is the only way I can think of doing this as adding a 'virtual dss console' does not work, or rather I cannot program *03 Virtual on a dss key.
