Hey all, I'm trying to setup an Avaya workplace SIP phone with ACD features in CM. I'm currently on Version 3.17.0.65.16. and no matter what I make it being a 9611SIPCC or J179SIPCC, I cant get the features to appear. I don't work on these but maybe once or twice a year if that, and never set Workplace up as an agent. Also never seeing how it looks with ACD, are the features like Auto in, login, Aux Works log out supposed to appear on Feature Manager. The only way I even get Feature manager to show is to throw a bridged appearance on the set currently.
Thanks in Advance!!!

In order to get an IX workplace client to be able to login as an agent several steps are required.
First you must configure you station using the J179CC station type.

The Feature button page is where the CC buttons are added to.
Once your station is created you will need a separate IX Workplace 46xxsetting file configured and uploaded to the AADS servers to enable the CC features on the Workplace Client.
Here is a copy of the 46xxSetting file.

Once you have your settings file configured and ready, upload it to the AADS Server(s) and call it 46xxsettingsworkplace.txt
Select the new file you created.
Press Done then upload

Next, on the SMGR, the License Manager is also important, if you don't have Workplace Licenses the client won't be able to login.

Once you've uploaded your custom IX Workplace setting file to your AADS (Both if you have a pair), you will then manually configure you IX Workplace and point it to this new settings file you created.

Now on Workplace client
Select Configure my account.
Select the Gear.
Choose Use Web Address
Enter the URL of your Utility server followed by the settings file name you created earlier.
Now enter your station extension number and password
Open the profile setting
Toggle the Agent Login Button
Enter your Agent Login ID and Password followed by the update button., Press DONE.
Return to the Profile button
Toggle the agent login button
You should now be logged-in
The agent toolbar now appears on your IX Workplace
Note that the not ready codes are based on the 2nd to last line of the settings file uploaded earlier
You can also access the call centre features using the botton module.
The buttons on the module can be used to login, change to Auto-in, Aux Work etc instead of using the CC Toolbar.

Thank you for this detailed reply Tanzeem97!!! I really appreciate the clarification and step by step on this and have a better understanding. First of what to look for and how it should look and what is needed. I won't be able to work on this for a couple weeks and in my position, I dont have access to the AADS servers so I will have to look into that as well. Thanks for you help!!!!
