CR7 wont display the British '£' sign

Have now installed CR7 over CR6 and still cannot get a £ sign. Tried the ASCII Code Alt-0163 as advised in Crystal Clear(Issue 25) but still get this weird symbol (a capital 'T' with a lower case 'c' attached to its foot)

Any ideas

as soon as you mentioned the font thing i saw where you were going and changed from arial sg1 (!) to times new roman....voila.
