Hi All,

I Downloaded the KB823980Scan from MS today. The directions say to run the exe file and it will open a command prompt and let you know if the system has the patch installed or not. The problem I am having is that when I run the exe file I see a command prompt window open for a second or two but then it disappears.

I seem to remember hearing about an easy fix for this a while back but can't find it now.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Start, Run, cmd (then hit enter)

Now run the scan.

To return to Windows type Exit
