I have the drive, cable and scsi controller, please provide tips on getting this installed.

Install the controller.
Set the address on the drive.
Install the drive.
Connect the cable from controller to drive.
If the drive is not self terminating, Install terminator.

There is a jumper on the drive that needs to be set. If you only have one scsi device you can set this to 0. Plug in the card, plug the cable into the card, if the cable has a termination plug in the drive and you should be done. If the cable does not have a terminator you need to set the termination on the drive if it has one or plug a terminator into the end of the cable.

I think by address he means setting the device number (i.e. device 0 if it's the only drive on the cable).

Some drives have a jumper that will tell the scsi card what device to install it as, others are simply plug and play.

Check your drive to find out which you have.

Good luck!
