Turning a PC "ON" via keyboard power switch....
the computer is actually a laptop, and I don't want to open it up and attempt to solder wires to the power switch. i'm starting to think that outside of a "wake on" solution via usb or serial port there may not be a simple way to turn on a pc where there is not a direct connection to the power...- waynebruce

I am installing a computer in a car which will not be easily accessible. While turning it off is not a problem via windows gui, I do not know an easy way to turn it back on without physically pressing the power switch.
