    I had the same problem and used Webroot spyware remover and it took care of it when no other program would. Since then I have grown to love this program and all its features. I suggest everyone give this one a go.

    My hard drive doesn't appear in BIOS

    Try unpluging power supply and replugging it back in. I don't know why but that has brought my HD back to life several times. Eventually I got a new PSU.
