Thanks for the response. Have found out that the authorization stanza was never in the qm.ini file for PROD but it was for UAT -- hence my confusion. so no problem [smile]- VanDerGraaf

Hi, I have just taken over MQ Series Support on an HP-UX production system, from a contractor who left as luck would have it, yesterday.
