The Viewer contacts the Host. The Host contacts the Manager to update his settings and see if the credentials supplied are allowed in. If the Host cannot contact the Manager he uses his registry settings and local preferences.- Todder1

Possibility to check version, patches etc. ?
For RCO, Do a Help, About. For SDO, from a command prompt, issue "sdver" For AMO, from the AMO console, do a Help, About. That will get you the version numbers. Use ApplyPTF for patch history.- Todder1
