Hi have you the same antivius on both computers? also have you tried running CCleaner, and Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE. But being as i have not heard of that antivirus, i cannot comment.

Hi with it turned off see if your card is pushed in tight in the slot, or remove card and reseat it, also try and roll back to a driver in device manager, uninstall it and see if wizard can find one for you.

Hi when i did what you have done, i created a shortcut on the desktop, transfered my file over to the other drive(master) and as a backup also burnt them to cd/r. Formated the slave then put the files back, xp then assigned a letter to it.

Hi i think you have downloaded something you dont need.
what you want to do is take off all but the windows updates and then run with a good antivirus, because you have downloaded a gdi + decection tool. that is what could be causing your trouble.

Hi yes uninstall nortons get another antivirus that won,t cause that trouble as nortons have taken your system over, and if you have not got a disk or can't go to safe mode or do what the other posting saids then you will have to beg or buy a windows xp CD.
