Hello,
We've got a 2003 (non-sp1) file server which utilizes Disk Quotas. We've been running our users with a certain limit for over a year, and have had no issues. When I checked in this AM, we had the usual couple of people whom were warning, but had not yet reached their quota limit. There...
Hello SnoopFrogg,
Terminal Services in 2003 should support only 2 concurrent connections, and of course the actual console. Unless you need fewer than 3 potential connections (2 remote, one local), I wouldn't worry about it.

Hello,
I've got a 2003 print server with many printers, and has run without issue for about a year. Lately, things are still running well as long as the physical printers are ready/printing. If there's a paper jam or somehow the physical printer is offline for more than a minute, the print...
Hello,

Not yet, although I'm looking into this now. The nature of the errors indicate Tivoli is merely affected by the SCM "change". It could be any service, but Tivoli was "the one" that was hammered for us. Thanks for the reply.
Hello,
I've installed W2K SP4 on a production Domain controller in our business. Although we didn't run into glaring issues afterward, we did receive a few Event ID's immediately after applying SP4. 7022 and 7031. The issue was that after SP4 was installed, our Tivoli backup scheduler service...
Hello, well since I received no response, I decided to do some additional digging and came up with an interesting article on Microsoft's website titled "Print Server Scalability and Sizing Technical Overview" For now, you can find it here...
Hello,
Our organization is currently migrating from a mixed NetWare/Windows network, to a full blown Windows 2000/AD network. I've been assigned the job of mapping out and researching resource requirements for migrating/recreating the print queues within Windows (from NetWare). We have about...
