In GP 8.0, when we try to create an installation template, we get the following error:
Exception_Class_Script_Error
Script_CMD_Extern
DexUsedSpace@GPWIN32.DLL
We get this exact same message on two completely different installations. Any idea on how to get around this error?
Our clients like to get quotes for Dell products, so we go online to the Dell website, configure a system, and save it to our cart. From there we can print out a detail list to send to our client with prices.
I did a quote like this last night... this morning, I went back into My Cart, and the...
I should add that the SMTP server being used is a "public" SMTP server provided by a large email/Internet provider... it is not one of our Exchange Servers.

We are getting email notifications sent correctly to 1 person, but not to two others. When we ty a Test it works fine to all recipients... but the overnight scheduled backups do not send emails to these two individuals...only to the one person.

We will be getting W2K3 Standard with 5 CALs. Does that _INCLUDE_ 5 TS licenses for application mode or do I need to buy a separate 5-pack of licenses for TS?
Do I need a separate program/license to act as the "licensing server?
Just a couple of payroll functionality questions...
1. Am I correct in that Great Plains Standard can only be licensed for up to 500 employees?
2. We can have up to 500 employees in EACH company, yes?
3. We can have unlimited companies in Great Plains Standard, yes?
4. Does the Time and...
An answer to my own question: We were able to Search for another runsql01.msi, and we found another one that coincided with our current Service Pack level, and that seemed to help move us along.
We are installing FRx 6.7 on one particular workstation, and about halfway through the install, we get an error about it trying to find an installation file for MSDE (sqlrun01.msi).
We're not using MSDE anywhere in this location, and we've been able to install FRx on other workstations without...
We always reserve the right to be wrong, but we have had nothing but problems with our TapeWare installation.
We are using an external USB tape drive (our first mistake?)... it's a Certance/Quantum CT20 (STT6201U2-SST).
All was working fine after we set it up, and started doing scheduled...
Thanks, Mark... very helpful info... and not the usual "delete temporary internet files."
Regarding your first point about the warning when moving the swap file... would that be a one-time warning, or everytime you re-boot or login?
And how would one move the spooler directory to the other...
We're coming off of BackupExec, and its email notifications were very nice in taht it would email only if there was an error... I don't see that flexibility in TapeWare.
Furthermore, if we view the entire log, I can't seem to find that "magic word" to "Find" that will let me know if and what...
Our C Drive on our 2003 server is only about 4gb to start with, and now we are down to about 200mb free disk space.
We really don't have much on the C Drive... just the OS and a couple of user profiles...
We were doing "ok" until we installed SP1, and that just about filled us up.
Our swap...
Sorry about the vague subject... not sure what to "call" this.
For the longest time, I have been unable to send an email to one specific individual. My emails keep getting bounced back to me as Undeliverable... but there is no header information. I am sure I am using the right email...
