Hi PHV, Thanks for your quick reply, unfortunately I am a beginner and don't grasp algebra concepts well. I have looked at Chr() and Asc() but can't figure out how to apply them to this situation. I used this code and it worked, but now I need to change [Roll Number] and [txtEnd] to a letter ie. A B C etc... and don't know how to do the loop. Could someone please explain?
