    Phaser 6250 DP MPT or Manual Tray Constant Jamming

    I am trying to fix the multipurpose feeding tray on my phaser 6250dp. The paper jams almost immediately upon being pulled into the printer. Only a few inches even make it into the printer and I really have to pull hard to get it back out. Any suggestions? thanks

    I meant fading instead of smearing which I put in the title. there maybe a little smearing but mostly it is repeating text and fading it.

    This is my second post concerning our phaser 6250dp. I was able to fix the last problem partially due to the replies I got here, so I thought I would try this one. We recently replaced the imaging unit, but now are having a ghosting or fading problem. It repeats some of the text in black ink...

    Thanks for the suggestion, that was the error and I took the side panel off and realigned the gears. No problem with that and its up and working great!
