as of right now the method we have is similar to what your talking about. we hired a third party company to go around and try to idenitify every digital set, analog set, fax machine, modems etc. i guess after we get that list it will be deleting the ones we didnt find and see if anyone complains

That is what I was afraid of hearing. The Problem is we have roughly around 1100 analog DN when i generate a report and i know we do not have anywhere close to that much analog equipment and with the VoIP deployment being less than a couple of months away i was looking for a less labor intensive...
